Jedes Jahr im Herbst wird die Strelasundbrücke zur Rennstrecke für Langstreckenläufer, Walker und Bambinis. Das diesjährige Laufevent findet am 12.10.2024 statt. Die Brücke ist während der Veranstaltung vollständig gesperrt, der Verkehr wird über den Rügendamm umgeleitet.
